Introduction

Department of Pharmacy at IQRA University, Islamabad Campus will provide students, access to cutting-edge facilities and resources, as well as an innovative and student-centered curriculum that enables growth of professional skills and behaviors such as interdisciplinary education, critical thinking, and reflection all of which are essential for a successful career. Our faculty is highly qualified and aims to equip students with the academic, professional, and personal skills necessary to produce brilliant pharmacists.  This is a place where committed young people may hone their desire to innovate through tangible, real, and actionable research.

State of the art laboratories have been set up to grant pharmacy students the opportunity to gain practical experience and technical exposure. The labs are well-equipped and will be constantly updated to keep up with international advances in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The labs include Pharmaceutical-Chemistry Lab, Pharmaceutics Lab, Basic Medical Sciences Lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Instrumentation and Quality Control lab, Industrial Lab, and Computer Lab.

Our Objectives

  1. Understanding Health Sciences: Develop a solid foundation in health sciences, including pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, medicinal chemistry, therapeutics, to make informed decisions in patient care.
  2. Clinical Skills Development: Cultivate the clinical skills necessary for assessing and evaluating patient care across various disciplines, identifying and resolving health-related problems, and designing individualized therapeutic and care plans.
  3. Effective Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration skills with other healthcare professionals, promoting inter-professional teamwork and optimizing patient outcomes.
