BE in Electronic Engineering
In order to achieve above goals and objectives, the department of Electronic Engineering has decided to offer BE in Electronic Engineering. An inspection team of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) consisting of experts visited IUIC last year to verify available facilities and infrastructure for the Engineering discipline. Based on the strong recommendations of the inspection team, PEC has allowed IUIC to start BE in Electronic Engineering program.
The curriculum of BE in Electronic Engineering is designed in such a way to provide quality education to students in field of Electronic Engineering to meet with the future requirements of industry both in private and public sectors. Our undergraduate program has been designed to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge in field of Electronic Engineering so that students can successfully face the challenges of fast growing electronic industry in the country. A number of specializations have been launched to provide enough flexibility to students to choose area of their own interest for their career.
Department of Electronic Engineering consists of a strong teaching and research team. Most of the faculty members have been graduated from institutes of international repute. The Department is actively involved in both pure and applied research. IUIC is proud to announce that the Department of Electronic Engineering obtained a huge grant of Rs. 15 Millions to establish a lab on Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) technology.
Admissions
The students will be enrolled through entrance test, as per the basic eligibility criteria laid down by Pakistan Engineering Council and approved by the academic council of Iqra University, Pakistan.
Eligibility
- F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
- F.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics and Computer Studies) with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
- Candidate with DAE will also be offered admission provided they have obtained aggregate 60% in the program. However, only 10% seats will be reserved for DAE candidates.
Admissions are made purely on merit from all over Pakistan. There is no quota for domicile or donation seat system.
Others
After the entry test, the interview board will finally select the candidate for admission to the
