The Adventure Club organized an exciting outdoor activity comprising of a series of adventures including Paragliding, Cliff Diving, and Jet Skiing on June 15 and 22, 2014 at Mangg / Khanpur Dam. A training session for the Paragliding activity took place at Sector G-14 Islamabad one day prior to the actual occasion with participants including students, staff and faculty.
Few of the participants took solo flights on June 15 after which the wind pressure at the designated spot was unfavourable for gliding. Calling it a day for Paragliding, the group headed toward the Resort at Khanpur where the participants enjoyed delicious food along with chilled soft drinks. The thrilling exercise of Cliff Diving and Jet Skiing were performed by the reenergized creatures after lunch.
Adventurers were fortunate to be given another chance to re-live the same enthusiastic moments on June 22 when the entire team travelled to Mangg for Paragliding once again. Nature was kind enough to blow the wind in the favourable direction that led everybody fly like a free bird and meet a new being in his / her selves. Cliff Diving and Jet Skiing activities were later repeated in the deep water of Khanpur Dam after having appetizing lunch at Khanpur Resort.
An elegant and charming group photo session was held in the end. The faces of Iqrians were gleaming with cheerfulness, the lips were singing, and eyes full of new hopes for a beautiful tomorrow
