Introduction

The Fashion and Design Department at Iqra University, Islamabad Campus is one of the largest academic centres for Fashion and Textile studies in Pakistan. The students gain technical knowledge through an intensive curriculum which continues to grow and evolve to encompass latest developments in the industry as well as traditional knowledge. The programs of fashion and textile design provides a solid formation for those who are creative, are go-getters, and are ready to fight fierce competition in this competitive industry.


The University strives to provide the best possible launching pad for the students’ professional careers by providing help with internships, work placements, setting up their businesses, and advice on resumes and portfolios of projects. The department also maintains strong links with the creative industry by actively participating in annual fashion weeks and international design competitions.
