Guidelines for Degree Awarding Ceremony, 2025

We are pleased to inform you that the Degree Awarding Ceremony (DAC), 2025 for Iqra University H-9 Campus, Islamabad has been scheduled to take place at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. Kindly note the important guidelines below to ensure the smooth functioning of the ceremony. These guidelines must be strictly adhered to during the event.

  1. Rehearsal:
  • Date: January 18, 2025
  1. Ceremony Function:
  • Date: January 19, 2025
  1. Venue:
  • Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad
  1. Reporting Time:
  • Time: 8:30 AM on both days at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad
  1. Gates Closure:
  • Ceremony hall gates will close at 9:00 AM. No entry will be allowed after 9:00 AM.
  1. Prohibited Items:
  • Mobile phones, electronic devices, lighters, and handbags are not allowed in the ceremony hall.
  1. Children Policy:
  • Children under the age of 10 years are not allowed in the ceremony hall.
  1. Seating Arrangements:
  • Parents/Guests will be seated on the first floor of the ceremony hall, and students registered for DAC, 2025 will be seated on the ground floor.
  1. Invitation Card and Gown Collection:
  • Date: Tuesday, January 14, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Student Office, IUIC
  1. Required Documents for Collection:
  • Please bring the payment slip during the collection of your invitation card from the Student Office.
  1. Security Fee:
  • A security fee of Rs. 1300/- (cash) for the gown will be required.
  • Rs. 1000/- of the amount is refundable upon the return of the gown.
  1. Gown Return:
  • It is recommended to return the gown on the function day.
  • There will be no security refund against gown after January 21, 2025.

Important Note:

  • Please be aware that Srinagar Highway is currently closed due to construction near Serena Hotel. We recommend using Club Road and turning towards Murree side from Kashmir Chowk
  • For your convenience, a QR code for the location will be provided on your invitation card. Kindly scan the code for guidance on the route to the venue.
