Faculty-wise Internship Policies
Each faculty has its own undergraduate internship policy, prepared in line with the HEC Undergraduate Education Policy (2023) v1.1. Select your faculty below to see the duration, eligibility, approval steps, supervisor roles, deliverables and how your internship is evaluated.
Faculty of Arts, Design, Education & Social Sciences
Covers the 3 credit hour internship for FADESS programs, the approval timeline, PAC and supervisor roles, the teaching portfolio and progress reports required, and the ethics and child safety rules for school placements.
Faculty of Business Administration
Explains the internship requirements for business students, including paid and unpaid placements, the internship coordinator's role, the report, presentation and viva, and the cases in which an internship will not be approved.
Faculty of Engineering Science & Technology
Sets out eligibility (minimum CGPA 2.5), internship formats including boot camps, host organizations for CS, SE, AI and Cyber Security students, the 8-step approval process and grading from A to F.
Faculty of Health Sciences
Clinical internship policy for Nursing, DPT, HND and Psychology students: final year timing, supervised on-site placements (6 hours a day, 4 days a week) and the rule of no independent patient treatment.
