A Team of Senior MS Scholars of The Department of Management Sciences from Iqra University Islamabad Campus, participated in 2nd Annual Entrepreneurship Conference LCL 2013 (Learn, Create, Lead) held on Saturday 30th, Nov 2013 at Convention Center Islamabad.
Their participation was generously funded by The Department of Management Sciences with an intention of providing practical exposure to students of Entrepreneurship. In fact the long term mission of The Department of Management Sciences is to promote Entrepreneurial environment so that students contribute to Pakistan’s local market development, economic growth, job creation and strengthen market competitiveness.
The key discussion and mission of LCL was to provide theoretical and practical foundation of Entrepreneurship and provide solutions to combat current socio economic crisis of Pakistan. Invaluable information was shared specifically related to themes of empowering youth, dynamics of successful venture, tuning ideas into reality via local commercializing, team building, entrepreneurial educational policies and how to mastering skills to innovate and applied transformational leadership. The uniqueness of the conference was the diverse portfolios of key speakers and sharing of their motivational speeches and real time tested experiences of their entrepreneurial achievements in Pakistan. Panelists comprised of government officials, academicians, trainers, researchers, students, politicians, entrepreneurs and policy makers. Students attended the session and expressed very positive feedback.
