Undergraduate Programs

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Minimum 45% marks in Intermediate or equivalent (IBCC equivalence is required)

  2. IU Admission Test is required

Admission offered to the candidates is based on the previous academic background (marks in matriculation and intermediate), and performance of a candidate in the Admission Test.

Graduate Programs (MS/MPhil)

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifications required for the MS/M.Phil. program. The following details outline the admission procedures for the graduate programs

  1. An applicant must have a minimum second division or 2.0 CGPA on a scale of 4.0. GAT-General with a minimum 50% or university aptitude test (IUAT) with a 60% cumulative score will be required.
  2. Applicants from recognized universities/degree awarding institutions. Institutions which mention both division and CGPA on the Degree/Transcript must meet either of the two conditions.
  3. Potential candidates are required to submit their applications online through the admission portal.
  4. The admission department will shortlist candidates based on the specified eligibility criteria.
  5. The admission department will coordinate with the Examination department to schedule the admission tests for M.Phil. These tests will be conducted separately once in each semester.
  6. For M.Phil. applicants, a GAT general (paper-based) test will be conducted.
  7. For the M.Phil. program, a minimum of 60% marks is required to qualify for the interview.
  8. The examination department will be responsible for announcing the results of the tests and distributing GAT result cards to the concerned department.
  9. After passing the GAT test, M.Phil. Candidates undergo an interview, and admission is granted or denied based on the interview results.
