Introduction

Department of Pharmacy at IQRA University, Islamabad Campus will provide students, access to cutting-edge facilities and resources, as well as an innovative and student-centered curriculum that enables growth of professional skills and behaviors such as interdisciplinary education, critical thinking, and reflection all of which are essential for a successful career. Our faculty is highly qualified and aims to equip students with the academic, professional, and personal skills necessary to produce brilliant pharmacists.  This is a place where committed young people may hone their desire to innovate through tangible, real, and actionable research.

State of the art laboratories have been set up to grant pharmacy students the opportunity to gain practical experience and technical exposure. The labs are well-equipped and will be constantly updated to keep up with international advances in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The labs include Pharmaceutical-Chemistry Lab, Pharmaceutics Lab, Basic Medical Sciences Lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Instrumentation and Quality Control lab, Industrial Lab, and Computer Lab.

    Ensure the curriculum keeps pace with developments in modern sciences,
    industrial needs, and global health care trends, enabling graduates to meet the
    challenges of the 21st century.
  2. To Develop Competent, Skilled, and Ethical Pharmacy Professionals:
    Prepare graduates with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in medical,
    pharmaceutical, and clinical sciences, while fostering ethical values,
    communication abilities, and professionalism to serve both local and international
    communities.
  3. To Standardize and Modernize the Pharmacy Curriculum:
    Update and harmonize syllabi and credit hours at the national level in alignment
    with international standards, integrating clinical and community pharmacy
    practice, OTC services, and industry-related competencies.
  4. To Enhance Practical Training and Experiential Learning:
    Implement internships and practical training across diverse pharmacy disciplines
    clinical, community, hospital, and industrial ensuring graduates are well-prepared
    for patient-centered care, dosage regimen design, and disease state management.
  5. To Equip Graduates for Diverse Career Pathways and Leadership Roles:
    Prepare pharmacy graduates for roles in patient safety, pharmaceutical industry,
    academia, research, and global health organizations, empowering them to
