Introduction

In the last decade, the world has gone through a media revolution. From newspapers to blogs, radio to podcasts, television to streaming services, and everything in between, media plays a big part in our everyday lives.

Media Studies is an interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on the analysis, interpretation, and critique of various forms of media, including television, film, advertising, social media, and more. It involves examining how media shapes our understanding of the world, our culture, and ourselves. As media continues to evolve rapidly, with the advent of new technologies and platforms, it becomes increasingly important to study and understand its effects on society.

We offer bachelors and master’s programme, the former with a major in Film and TV, Animation, and Mass Communication, and the latter with the specialization in Film and TV.

The department is facilitated with the latest technology available at the students’ disposal. From preproduction to production, and from postproduction to marketing, students are ready to work in the industry or start their own productions by the time they graduate.

We ensure each student, regardless of their specialization, are well versed with necessary skills to get a jump-start into their media careers. By the time they become senior students, they already have a portfolio full of high-quality work ready to showcase to the world. It is not surprising that our media students win national awards and are sought after once they graduate.
