Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (BSAF) program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever-changing global business and financial landscape. With a comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, and a supportive learning environment, we prepare students for successful careers in accounting and finance.
It is a four-year undergraduate degree that equips students with a solid foundation in accounting and finance principles. Our teaching methodologies are interactive and engaging, incorporating lectures, class discussions, case studies, article presentations, projects, reports, industrial trips, seminars, workshops, and guest speakers. This ensures that students receive a well-rounded education and practical exposure to the industry.
The curriculum for the BSAF program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance principles. It consists of mandatory courses, common optional courses, core courses, and a research project. The curriculum ensures that students develop the necessary knowledge and skills required for success in the field of accounting and finance.
Program Objectives (PO):
PO1: | Develop understanding of the overarching concept of the business. |

PO3: | Enable students to apply the concepts learnt to comprehend and analyze real or simulated business problems. |
PO4: | Impart effective communication skills imperative to their future roles as managers in an increasingly diverse workforce. |
PO5: | Create sound concepts of ethical and moral frameworks that will help them resolve organizational dilemmas. |
PO6: | Use critical thinking skills to evaluate information, solve problems, and make sound decisions. |
PO7: | Use information technology in decision-making. |
